Placing Originals on the Original Glass

Paper Originals and Transparent Originals

Lift the Original Cover by at least 15°.

Originals are not automatically detected at a cover angle of less
than 15°.
Place the original on the Original

Glass with the side to be copied
face down.
Align the rear left-hand corner of the

original with the arrow mark. Press
the rear edge of the original against
the Original Positioning Plate.
? Is the original transparent?
Place a sheet of white paper of

the same size on the original.
4 Close the Original Cover.
