Analysis Studio Shows the Wrong Currency Symbol

When published to IBM Cognos Analysis Studio, PowerCubes show a default
currency rather than the currency associated with the locale of your servers and
PCs. For example, GBP (£) is shown as $.
To resolve this problem, you can do one of the following:
v Create a currency table when you prepare your model in Cognos Transformer
v For PowerCubes that do not contain an embedded currency table, set the

Changes to Decimals in Currency Formats

When you open a PowerCube in an IBM Cognos studio or in IBM Cognos
Business Intelligence Mobile Analysis version 8.3, you may notice changes in the
number of default decimal places shown in currency formats.
This behavior is due to the following changes:
v The default decimal formatting in currency formats is now determined by the
