202 Paper jam
Step Action and questions
1 Remove the fuser from the printer. Remove the oiler
housing from the fuser, and pivot the paper guide up.
Is media jammed inside the fuser?
2 Check fuser exit sensor flag.
Does flag rotate freely and return to normal position
when released?
3 Check that the diverter gates in the fuser rotate freely.
Do the diverter gates rotate freely?
4 Reinstall the fuser and perform the
TEST" on page 3-29
Note: Use a spring hook to actuate the flag.
Does the fuser exit sensor pass?
5 Check that the duplex diverter rotates freely with the
redrive door closed.
Does the duplex diverter rotate freely?
