Emergency Opening/Closing
If the button A and the button on the key remote control do not work,
pull the small handle D housed in the armrest compartment, between
the rear seats.
After opening the luggage compartment lid manually with the handleD,
to close it again electrically with the relative controls, proceed as

follows:
• with the luggage compartment lid open, close the lock manually by
pressing the release lever E;
• lock and unlock the doors pushing the relative buttons on the key
remote control (see page 6);
• unlock the luggage compartment lid by pushing the button on the
key remote control.
It will now be possible to close the luggage compartment lid,
proceeding as described above: the lock will close properly and
automatically.
For the closing procedure after using the battery master switch (see page
137).

Fuel tank door

Opening
• With the key in position 0 press the release button A to unlock the
fuel tank door.
• Unscrew the cap B, rotating it anticlockwise and hang it on the hook
C.
Warning: If air is released when the cap is unscrewed, this should be
considered perfectly normal. The tank filler neck's airtight seal can cause a
slight pressure build-up in the system.
Always turn off the engine during refuelling. Take
extreme care when removing the cap.
During refuelling, do not approach the vehicle with
open flames or lit cigarettes. Furthermore, inhaling
vapours can be harmful.
