Each time the battery is reconnected, wait at least 30 seconds with the
ignition key in position II before starting the engine. This allows the
electronic system managing the motor-driven valves to run the self-learning
procedure. During this time, make sure not to activate any device.
The Motronic ECU's self-learning cycle works correctly when the
intake air temperature is in the range 5 to 100 °C.
After removing the battery from the vehicle and disconnecting it from
the system with the battery master switch, when reconnecting you have
to make sure, before running the self-learning cycle, that the external
air temperature is in the indicated range.

Recharging the battery

well-ventilated area and away from any flammable
materials.
Batteries can produce combustible gases. Do not
approach the battery with open flames or lit cigarettes
and do not create any sparks near it.
Battery-charger
The vehicle is equipped with a special connector for plugging the

charged and to recharge it in an emergency.
It is located on the right-hand side of the luggage compartment. To
access it, remove cover A.
The instructions for use of this device are found in the manual included with
the F
