Tyre pressure monitoring system failure

Screen pages 15 and 16 alternate in the following
cases:
- malfunction in the circuit and/or wiring leading to
the ECU
- no signal reception by one or more sensors due to
malfunction, breakage or flat battery

- ECU malfunction.
The display sequence follows the usual logic of
"hw" priority level malfunctions. Therefore, after 20
seconds, the symbol will appear in the dedicated area.
System temporarily not active

When one of the following conditions arises:
- excessively high temperature
- during the first calibration procedure screen page
17 will appear.
- radio frequencies which disturb the wheel sensor
signals.
System not active

After the key is turned on, in the case that the system
has been deactivated by means of the diagnostic
tester, screen page 18 will appear for several seconds.

Replacing the wheels

If one or more wheels need to be replaced, proceed as
follows:
– Replace the wheel stud bolts with damaged thread or taper.
– Carefully clean the wheel stud bolts before fitting.
– Absolutely avoid lubricating the contact surfaces between
the wheel stud bolt and the wheel rim, and between the
wheel rim and the brake disk.
In order not to remove the anti-grip treatment product, do
not clean the wheel rim tapers with solvents or aggressive
products.
Spare wheel (optional)
On request, the vehicle may come equipped with a kit containing:
• Spare wheel with space-saver tyre; the label indicates the max speed
permitted (80 km/h - 50 mph).
• Additional toolkit bag containing: jack and wrench to fasten the
wheel stud bolts.
