Failure indicator

Every time a system malfunctioning is detected, the respective warning
light is activated on the "TFT" display, on the instrument panel (see
page 33).
If the failure involves a valve, conditions may arise in which one or two
of the four shock absorbers may have a fixed setting (blocked valve).
In any case, safe driving is always ensured.
The malfunction detected is stored by the ECU.
The system is exclusively designed for connection to the Ferrari SD-3
diagnostic tester, which can be used to perform a diagnostic test of the
system.
If a malfunction occurs while driving with a consequent activation of
the relative warning light, you are strongly recommended to:
• stop the vehicle

• turn the key to position 0;
• restart the engine.
If the malfunction is no longer present, the warning light will go off and
the system will start operating normally. If this does not occur, it means
that the system continues to malfunction.

To help ensure the best performance and endurance, and to permit the
best tyre adjustment on the wheel rim, it is important to comply with
the following instructions for the first 200-300 km (125–185 mi.) with
new tyres:
• avoid sudden acceleration
• avoid sharp braking and steering
• drive at moderate speed on straight roads and on curves.
How to use the tyres
The tyres must be constantly kept in good conditions to help ensure safe
driving.
The tyre inflation pressure must correspond to the prescribed values
and should be checked only when the tyres are cold: in fact, the tyre
pressure increases as the tyre temperature progressively increases.
Never reduce the pressure if the tyres are warm.
Insufficient tyre pressure can lead to overheating, damage and even
destruction of the tyres.
Inflating the tyres to a pressure differing from that
prescribed (see page 16) will render the monitoring system
inaccurate.
Sudden impact against sidewalks, holes in the road and other obstacles
of various types, as well as long trips on rough roads, can cause damage
to the tyres that is not always visible to the naked eye.
Check your tyres regularly for any signs of damage (e.g. scratches, cuts,
cracks, bulges, etc.).
