Sensor range
The sensors allow the system to monitor the front and rear of the
vehicle.
They are positioned so as to monitor the central and lateral zones at the
front and at the rear of the vehicle.
If the obstacle is located in the central area, this is detected at distances
of less than 0.9 m (3 feet) in the front area and 1.50 m (5 feet) in
the rear area. If the obstacle is located in a lateral position, it will be
detected at distances of less than 0.6 m (2 feet).
Sensor failure
In the event that the parking sensors fail, the relevant warning light on
the display comes on see page 33 together with the message "Parking
sensor failure".
