Drain the luel into an approved container. Reinstall
the fueltank drain bolt with a new washer.

T u r n t h e i g n i t i o n s w i t c h O F F , t h e n d i s c o n n e c t t h e
fuel tank sending unit 3P connector.
C o n n e c t t h e f u e l t a n k s e n d i n g u n i t 3 P t e r m i n a l s N o '
1 a n d N o . 3 w i t h a j u m P e r w i r e
. l f t h e l i g h t c o m e s o n , r e p l a c e t h e f u e l g a u g e
sending unit (see Page 23 1421
. lf the light does not come on, check for:
- A n o p e n i n t h e G R N / Y E L w i r e b e t w e e n t h e
f u e l g a u g e s e n d i n g u n i t a n d t h e f u e l g a u g e
- A b l o w n b u l b .
- A poor ground (G552)
