Paper jam in area

If the numbers 1 and 2 blink simultaneously on the paper out/jam indicator (B27), check area 1 first and then
area 2.
Open the front panel (A3) and the
panel on the right-hand side of the
machine. If the photocopier is fitted
with an optional cassette module or
paper deck, open the panel below it.
If the photocopier continues to indi-
cate a jam, close the front panel and
remove the cassette.

Pull the panel marked in green
forwards.
Remove any jammed or incorrectly
positioned paper from the cassettes.
If you can see jammed paper in the
optional paper deck, pull the green
handle and remove the jammed
sheet.
Push the cassettes back in, close the
side panels and open and close the
front panel again.
If the area 2 icons continue to blink on
the paper out/jam indicator (B27), che-
ck that the panels on the right-hand
side of the machine are firmly closed.
