Automatic Sorting
If the photocopier is equipped with an ADF or RDF and Sorter or Stapler-Sorter (
«Stapler-Sorter 10», p. 36), all copies are fed out into the top bin if there is just one original or if the number selected
for a group of originals is one. In these cases, the photocopier can be set to feed out the copies into a single bin (the
top one) and the copies can be stapled manually.
The default setting for automatic sorting is ON.
Once the function has been selected as described above, the display (B12) will show the number that
corresponds to the current setting (–1 = ON: automatic sorting; –0 = OFF: the copies are fed out into the top bin or
as indicated by the sorter indicators (B1-B2-B14)).
Switch automatic sorting ON or OFF by pressing the NUMERIC key (B40) that corresponds to your choice
(1=ON; 0=OFF). Then press the OK key (B13) to confirm your choice.
Incorrect entries can be corrected by pressing the numeric key that corresponds to the desired value, which will
overwrite the incorrect one, or the CLEAR key (B39) to clear the display.
To cancel the new setting and restore the standard setting, press the RESET key (B34) before pressing the OK
key (B13) to confirm your choice.
07)
Cleaning the RDF
This function automatically cleans the feeder roller of the optional ADF or RDF and should be activated if dark
streaks appear on the originals or if they appear dirty after being fed through the ADF or RDF.
Having selected the function as indicated above, place 10 blank sheets of A4 paper in the ADF or RDF and press
the START key (B38). The sheets will be fed through the ADF or RDF cleaning it without making copies.
08)
Standard Copy Settings
The standard copy settings are those activated when the RESET key (B34) is pressed. You can change and
store different standard copy settings or restore the settings made at the factory after changing them. The standard
copy settings made at the factory are indicated in the table on p. 7.
!
If you want to change the standard copy settings, before pressing the ADDITIONAL FUNCTION key (B15)
to access all the editing functions, make the settings you wish to store as the standard ones.
