THE FOLLOWING ARE GENERALLY ACCEPTED CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR USING
A TIMED AUTOMATIC BLOOD PRESSURE INSTRUMENT UTILIZING THE
OSCILLOMETRIC PRINCIPLE:
Use of a heart lung machine
Peripheral circulation problems
Severe arrhythmia
Ectopic beats
Convulsions
Spasms
Tremors
Tachycardia

with any patient is the responsibility of the treating physician.
The results of tests performed with the Blood Pressure module are recorded on the left side of the
"Blood Pressure" screen (see Figure 46).
