To continue printing after a Pause, select Resume. The Windows printing System
restarts printing with the next page of the document currently paused.
Click the Force Print Job icon to print a document on a paper size that does not
match the paper size you selected for that job.
To cancel printing of the current print job, click on Delete. If you're printing
multiple documents using Print manager, the Windows Printing System
continues to the next print job in the queue and displays that print job's status.
To cancel all print jobs in the queue simultaneously, you must use Print
Manager (for details, see "Taking Advantage of Print Manager", later in this chapter).
To print a test page on the printer.
Go to standby.
Go to ready.
Click on this button to get rid of excess toner in the development
unit to produce a clean printout.

Closing the Printer Status Window

If the Printer Status Window opens automatically for printing, it closes when
printing finishes. Likewise, if the window opened to show an alert, it closes
automatically after you correct the problem that triggered the alert.
There is one exception. If you are using Print Manager, the Printer Status Window
will stay open – even after printing finishes – if you use your keyboard or mouse to
interact with it. For example, drag the window by the title bar or press F1 for help,
and the Printer Status Window stays open until you explicitly close it.
You can close the Printer Status Window at any time just as you would close any
other window.
