Setting Up the Printer

To use the face-up paper path, press the Exit Cover tab towards the rear of the
printer.

If the printer is still processing a page, wait until it stops.
Inserting a sheet while printing a page may cause a jam.

Gently insert the paper face-up into the Manual Feed slot. Align it against the left
side of the slot.

If the machine begins to pull in the sheet, allow it to go in, or a jam may result.
If a jam occurs, open the cover to remove the jammed paper, close the cover, and
try again.

Let the trailing end of the paper rest on the table. Within the application, send the
job to the printer. After a moment, the printer prints the page.

If necessary, close the Exit Cover to use the face-down paper path for the next
print job.
