Troubleshooting
The troubleshooting methods described in this chapter enable you to repair simple
problems which occur during normal operation. Consult a service professional to
address problems more complex than those described here.
Clearing Paper Jams
What Causes Paper Jams?
Removing the Paper Cassette while a job is printing.
Filling the cassette too full.
Not putting the corner of the paper stack under the metal tab in the Paper
Cassette.
Using paper that is too coarse or too shiny.
Using damaged or used paper.
Storing paper incorrectly, so that it curls or contains moisture.
