Options Dialog Box

The Options dialog box has more settings to control your print job.
To access the Options dialog box, open the Setup dialog box as described earlier in
this chapter, and then select the Options button.
Use the Options dialog box to:
Request separator pages before the document, after the document, or both.
Scale (enlarge or reduce) the image size on each page.

Printing Separator Pages

In the Separator Pages box of the Options dialog box, you can select either of two
types of page that the Windows Printing System can print to indicate where one
print job ends and another begins:
A header page prints at the beginning of the print job.
A trailer page prints at the end of the print job.
Both types of page also include information that can help you keep track of your
print jobs and productivity. For example, the header page identifies your printer,
the title of your document, the user, the time printing began, and the date. If you're
on a network, this information can help you locate your print jobs and distinguish
between revisions of the same document.
A trailer page has even more information, including a summary of the settings in
the Options and Graphics dialog boxes in case you want to duplicate or refine the
appearance of your document later. The page also includes a list of up to ten fonts
and sizes used in the document.
If printing multiple copies, you'll get separator pages only at the beginning and end
of the entire job, not between the individual copies.
