DETAILED STEPS
Command or Action
Step 1 Back up the router configuration while still in EXEC
mode.
Step 2 Place both the standby RP and the primary RP in ROM
monitor mode.
Step 3 Prepare the standby RP:
unset BOOT

Step 4
On the primary RP, set the environment variables that
define the IP locations of your router:
IP_ADDRESS=ip_address

On the primary RP, clear the TFTP filename variable and set the Easybake variable:
