Admin Guide > Creating and Configuring Outbound Drop Directories
Gulp Count – For multiple drop directories with different priority settings, this
option can be used to specify the number of fax jobs to be sent from one folder
before the drop directory service moves on to send faxes from the next folder. If,
for example, the gulp count is set to 25 and there are 4 folders, each with 100 fax
jobs, the drop directory service will send 25 faxes from the first folder, then 25
from the second, and so on.
Stop Interval – If multiple drop directories with different priorities are set up, the
stop interval setting is used to specify the length of time the drop directory service
will run before returning to the folder with the highest job priority. If, for example,
there are four folders and the stop interval set to 90, the drop directory service
will, after 90 seconds, leave the fax jobs in the lower priority folders and return to
the highest priority folder.
