Terminal Menu provides the following Xstation network error counts:

Number of I-Frame receive errors
Number of times T1 expired.

BABL
Babble is a transmitter timeout error. It indicates that the transmit-
ter has been on that channel longer than the time required to send
the maximum length packet.
CERR
Collision Error is a collision after transmission transceiver test
feature. This function is also known as Heartbeat.
MISS
Missed Packet is set when the receiver loses the packet because
it does not own a receive buffer.
MERR
Memory Error occurs when the memory does not respond
~ithin
the allotted time.
FRAM
Framing Error indicates that the incoming packet contains a non-
integer multiple of eight bits and there is a count error.
OFLO
Overflow Error indicates that the input buffer overflowed and all
or part of the incoming packet was lost.
CRC
Cyclic Redundancy Check indicates that the receiver has de-
tected a CRC error on the incoming packet.
BUFF
Buffer Error is set any time the next buffer is not open while data
chaining.
UFLO
Underflow Error indicates that the transmitter has truncated a
message due to data arriving too late from memory.
lCOl
Late Collision indicates that a collision has occurred after the slot
time of the channel has elapsed. The server does not retry on late
collisions.
LCAR
Loss of Carrier is set when the input carrier goes false during the
server-initiated transmission. The server does not retry upon
loss of carrier.
RTRY
Retry Error indicates that the transmitter has failed, after 16 at-
tempts, to successfully transmit a message due to a high collision
rate on the medium.
