11.2.2 Adjusting the spring tension

The factory setting for the spring tension is 90 grams.

(1) - Spring balance

To adjust the spring tension:
1. Hook the spring balance (1) into the thread tensioning spring.
2. Pull on the spring balance (1) until the thread tensioning spring starts
3. Loosen the knurled nut (3).
4. Turn the screw (4) to adjust the spring tension:
 The scale (2) of the spring balance (1) indicates the thread tension
5. Tighten the knurled nut (3).

• Less spring tension: Turn screw (4) clockwise
