L Activate safety mode: A password must be created in
order to activate the mode. This password protects the
following parameters or functions:
- Entering actual temperature
- Light level value per zone
- Installation height
- Detection sensitivity
- Teach-in
- Factory settings
- Firmware update
- Zone editing
L The safety password must consist of 6 characters: A-Z,
0-9.
L The safety mode as well as the safety password can also
be activated or defined in the ETS application. The safety
mode can be edited subsequently in the app.

9. Troubleshooting

Fault
Cause
Light does not switch
Lux value is set too low; detector set on semi-
on or switches off
automatic; light was switched off manually via
during presence and
push button or with remote control; person not
darkness
within detection area; obstruction(s) interrupting
detection; time delay set too short.
Light is switched on
Lux value set too high; light was recently set
in case of presence
manually by button (wait 30 min in switching
despite sufficient
mode); performing a firmware update.
brightness
Light is constantly
Interruption of the auxiliary voltage. After resto-
switched on despite no
ration of voltage, the detector is back in normal
one is present
operation.
Light does not switch
Wait for time delay to elapse (different time delays
off, or light switches on
can be configured); optical sources of interference
spontaneously when
in the detection area: reflections of light influen-
no one is present
ces, larger screens in the detection area, moving
objects such as curtains when the window is open.
Smartphone/tablet
BLE not activated in the smartphone/tablet; inter-
cannot be connected
