This section provides information about removing or installing the intrusion switch.

Removing the intrusion switch

Prerequisites

Follow the safety guidelines listed in safety instructions section.

Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.

Keep the plastic scribe ready.
Steps

Disconnect the intrusion switch cable from the connector on the system board.

Remove the cable from the cable routing latch.
3
Using a plastic scribe, slide the intrusion switch and remove it from under the intrusion switch slot.
