6.3.13 Removing/reinstalling the CCD unit

1.
Remove the original glass.
(See P.125)
2.
Remove the 2 screws [1] and the remove the lens
light blocking cover assy [2].
3.
Remove the connector [3].
4.
Remove the 9 screws [4] and then remove the
lens light blocking cover [5].
5.
Remove the 3 screws [6] and then remove the rib-
bon cable cover [7].
Note
• Be careful not to damage the scanner wire.
6. Remove the ribbon cable [2] from the CCD board
(CCDB) [1].
