Remove the fusing pressure roller [1].
• The fusing pressure roller varies in the diame-
ter for bizhub 500 and 420. When replacing it
with a new one, be sure to install one that is
suitable for the model.

Remove the 2 fusing bearings /Lw [2] from the
fusing pressure roller [1].
• When installing the fusing bearing /Lw, be
sure to install it with its collar section [3]
inside. Coat the cored bar section with
grease.
Reinstall the above parts following the removal
steps in reverse.
