4.4.1
Location planning
To operate the charging station safely, you need a location that meets the following
requirements.

Accident risks
Avoid accidents and injuries as well as damage to vehicles and the SICHARGE UC. This includes,
for example, lack of attention, slipping and tripping risks, as well as vandalism. Provide
additional protective measures:
• Warning signs
• Safe location of the SICHARGE UC
• Barriers
• Training of drivers and operators
• Sufficient lighting
Selection criteria for a safe location
Select the location of the charging station in such a way that all operations are safe. The charging
station itself must not pose a risk to persons or vehicles.
Restricting access
Do not operate the charging station in public areas.
Restrict access to the charging station in the semi-public area, e.g. with a fence.
