CAUTION: Replace a failed fan module with a new fan module within 30
seconds of removal to prevent chassis overheating.
Table 5 on page 22 lists the FRUs for the PTX1000 and actions to take before removing
them.
Required Actions Before Removal
Remove the power cord or cable for the power supply unit.
NOTE: You need a minimum of two powered power supplies for the PTX1000 to operate
properly.
