To remove a PTX1000 from a rack:
Perform one of the following steps:
1.
Position a mechanical lift under the PTX1000. Use the screwdriver to remove the
front-mounting screws that attach the router to the rack.
Have two persons support the weight of the PTX1000 while another person uses
the screwdriver to remove the front-mounting screws that attach the router to the
rack.
Remove the PTX1000 from the rack.

Use the screwdriver to remove the mounting screws that attach the rear-mounting

blades to the rear of the rack.
Place the removed screws and rear-mounting blades in a labeled bag. You will need

them when you reinstall the chassis.
Transport the PTX1000 to your desired new location.
