Use
Table 12 on page 40
to interpret the state of the power supply LED.
Description
There is no power to any of the power supplies.
The power supply is on and operating correctly.
The power supply is in cold standby mode; only the 12 VDC input is present.
The power supply is uploading firmware.
Either the power cord is unplugged or a major error is detected in the power supply.
Examples of a major error are power supply failure, overvoltage protection error,
overcurrent protection error, a fan failure.
If the power cord is unplugged or missing, reattach the power cord appropriate
for your country.
If a major error is occurring, replace the power supply as soon as possible. To
maintain proper airflow through the chassis, leave the power supply installed in
the chassis until you are ready to replace it.
Warning events are being detected; the power supply continues to operate. Often
these events are because of rising temperatures. Check the fan modules and the
fans in the power supplies and ensure there is proper airflow through the chassis.
Table 13 on page 40
describes the AC power specifications for a PTX1000.
Detachable AC power cords are shipped with the chassis if you include them as part of
your order. The coupler is type C13 as described by International Electrotechnical
Commission (IEC) standard 60320. The plug at the male end of the power cord fits into
the power source outlet that is standard for your geographical location.
