These are the categories for the ladder logic elements which may receive
synonyms. To create a synonym, first press the desired element category.
This will cause the screen to clear and a chart to be placed on the screen
showing the addresses of the category chosen. Since the "I/O," "C," "SKP,"
and "LBL" charts extend beyond one screen, "UP" and "DOWN" function
keys will become available to allow you to move from screen to screen to find
the desired address.
If you wish to find a specific element rather than just stepping through the
screens, a "FIND" operation is available. When this function key is pressed,
a prompt wilt appear for the address of the sought element. You should type
the address and press the Return key to begin the operation.
The synonym for an element is created by typing the description in the
synonym column next to the element address. Once the synonym is typed,
use the arrow keys to move to the next location in the chart. Each synonym
is entered into memory when the cursor is moved off location of the
synonym. To terminate the operation, press the EXIT (F1) function key.
