SIMATIC VPU200/560 Programming Manual
In the Offline mode, Function Keys 1 – 3 are labeled as shown and described
below.
(READ DisK.) This will obtain the memory configuration

from the Program Disk. The message line on the screen will
change to indicate that the data is from the disk.
(WRITe DisK.) This function key saves the displayed

configuration the Program Disk. You must press this
function key to save any changes which were made in the
configuration.
Note that only the F1 function key (EXIT) can be used to leave the
CONFME hierarchy. All other operations return to the CONFME line.
Remember to save all changes before pressing the EXIT function key.
