The FIND (F4) function key displays a section of an existing table. To
display the section, press the FIND function key and then type the starting
address of the table as requested by the prompt on the screen. Next, press
the Return key to enter the address. This will cause the table to appear with
the cursor at the sought address. Once the table is displayed, you may
change any entries in the table by moving the cursor to the memory location
desired and typing the new information in the format witch is currently on
the screen.
The F5 function key is used to switch between displaying a table of
V-memory and one of K-memory. When "K" is displayed, pressing the
function key will remove the current V-memory table and replace it with a
K-memory table. (If no K-memory is configured, the V-memory table will
remain on the screen and "NO K MEMORY CONFIGURED" will appear at
the bottom of the screen.) "K" will also change to "V", which indicates that
pressing the function key once more will return the V-memory table to the
screen.
The arrow keys function as an enter key in this operation. Once a change is
made to a V- or K-memory location, this value is entered when an arrow key
is used to move the cursor to a new location.
Pressing the spacebar displays the following additional function keys as
shown and described below.
When one of these function keys is pressed, the format for the memory
address in which the cursor is located will change to the chosen format.
("BCD" is Binary Coded Decimal format; "BIN" is BINary format; "INT" is
INTeger format; "+ / –" is signed integer format; and "DOUBLE" is for
DOUBLE precision, signed integer format. Note that DOUBLE will cause
the value to occupy two memory locations and that the second memory
location will be inaccessible. REAL is floating point IEEE format, and also
requires two memory locations.) Pressing the spacebar again returns the
previous display of function keys to the screen.
