Extract and remove the stanchion.
•
During reassembly, pay attention to the adjustment of the stanchion protrusion, referring to
the "Adjustment" paragraph in the "Suspensions" chapter.

THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS REFER TO A SINGLE STANCHION BUT APPLY TO BOTH.

Clamp the fork in a vice with the spe-
cific protective jaws, taking care not to
damage them.
•
Completely unscrew the cap (1) and lift
the stanchion placing a support under
it.

Using the specific tool (2) fixed to the
pre-load tube, compress the spring
and insert a wrench on the locking nut
(3) of the cap (1).
