Filling damper with nitrogen

The floating piston must be positioned at exactly this
point when the rod is fully extended; otherwise,
damage will occur during compression of the shock
absorber.

Remove the special tool.

Remove adapter
from connector
pump.

Hold the damper so that the filling port is at the high
est point.

Remove the adapter.

Mount and tighten screw

Mount screw
with the O-ring and screw it in approx. 2 full
turns, but do not tighten it fully yet .

The piston rod is fully extended.

Fix the special tool in the vise.

Connect the special tool to the pressure regulator of the filling
cylinder.

Adjust the pressure regulator.

Position the damper in the special tool.
