Removing the fork legs

Warning
Danger of accidents
discs reduces the braking effect.
-
Always keep the brake discs free of oil and
grease.
-
Clean the brake discs with brake cleaner when
necessary.
-
Clean and oil the dust boots and inner fork tubes of both fork
legs.
I Universal oil spray (8 p. 293)
-
Press the dust boots back into their installation position.
-
Remove excess oil.
Finishing work
-
Install the fork protector.
-
Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand.
Preparatory work
-
Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand.

Remove the front wheel.
Main work

Remove screws and take off the clamp.

Allow the brake caliper and brake line to hang loosely to the
side.

Loosen screws Remove the left fork leg.

Loosen screws fi). Remove the right fork leg.
