Restoring the Software Settings
The software settings of this product can be recovered by using the saved setup file.
Using FTP to Restore the Settings
Follow the procedure below to recover the software settings using FTP.

Move to the folder with file.

Run FTP to log in to the AP.

Run FTP to log in to the AP. (Enter FTP user's name)

Run FTP to log in to the AP. (Enter FTP password)

Transfer the settings file(config).
MACFIL is also transferred if necessary.
Issue the reset request command(command : quote rst).

Exit FTP.
The following is an example for the time when Windows Command Prompt (MS-DOS Prompt) is used.
In this example, the file will be moved to the folder with file D : ¥tmp and CONFIG and MACFIL will be
transferred after connecting to the product via FTP. The example assumes the IP address as 192.168.0.1.
C:¥>cd D:¥tmp
D:¥tmp>ftp 192.168.0.1
User (192.168.0.1:none)):admin
Password:pass
ftp>put CONFIG
ftp>put MACFIL
ftp>quote rst
ftp>bye
The reset request command shown in (4) is a command used to reboot the product. There is no problem
to skip (4), stop FTP in (5) and reboot the product later.
