Before installing the platform:
Refer to the platform specifications for the particular CTP model or series.
Have a plan for installing the device that takes into consideration future expansion.
Have the tools and accessories needed to complete the installation.
Read and understand the clearance requirements for the front and back of the chassis
for cable routing and other unit access.

Read and understand the clearance requirements for the top and bottom of the chassis
to ensure adequate ventilation.
Prepare the equipment racks by measuring and marking space for each device and
plenum you plan to install.

When installing the device on a table top or in any other freestanding mode, be sure to
leave enough space around the device for adequate ventilation. Position the chassis with
easy access to the connections that it needs for power, local communications, and remote
communications.
WARNING:
At least two people are required to lift the device. Three people
are required for the heavier CTP platforms.
