cator (if equipped)

The passenger s front air
bag OFF indicator illuminates
for about 4 seconds after
the ignition switch or the ENGINE
START/STOP button is turned to the
ON position.
The passenger s front air bag OFF
indicator also comes on when the
passenger s front air bag ON/OFF
switch is set to the OFF position and
goes off when the passenger s front
air bag ON/OFF switch is set to the
ON position.
CAUTION
If the passenger s front air bag ON/
OFF switch malfunctions, the pas -
senger s front air bag OFF indicator
will not illuminate (The passenger's
front air bag ON indicator comes on
Air bag - supplemental restraint system
and goes off after approximately 60
seconds) and the passenger s front
air bag will inflate in a frontal impact
even if the passenger s front air bag
ON/OFF switch is set to the OFF
-
position.
In this case, have the passenger s
front air bag ON/OFF switch and the
SRS air bag system inspected by a
professional workshop.
