Air conditioning refrigerant

Check the air conditioning lines and
connections for leakage and dam -
age.
Propeller shaft (if equipped)
Check the propeller shaft, boots,
clamps, rubber coupling and centre
bearing rubber for cracks, deterio -
ration, or damage. Replace any
damaged parts and if necessary,
repack the grease.

Checking fluid levels

When checking engine oil, engine
coolant, brake fluid, and washer
fluid, always be sure to clean the
area around any filler plug, drain
plug, or dipstick before checking or
draining any lubricant or fluid. This
is especially important in dusty or
sandy areas and when the vehicle is
used on unpaved roads. Cleaning the
plug and dipstick areas will prevent
dirt and grit from entering the
engine and other mechanisms that
could be damaged.

Engine oil (Petrol)

Checking the engine oil level

Engine oil is used for lubricating,
cooling, and operating various
hydraulic components in the
engine.Engine oil consumption
whilst driving is normal, and it is
necessary to check and refill the
engine oil regularly. Also, check and
refill the oil level within the recom -
mended maintenance schedule to
prevent deterioration of oil perfor -
mance.Check the engine oil following
the below procedure.
