Junction Gate – To the Side Tray

Junction gate 3 is controlled by a solenoid in the optional side tray unit.
To feed paper to
the side tray,
junction gate 1
blocks the exit
path to the
standard tray.
The paper goes to
the inverter tray,
in the same way
as for duplex
mode.
But, junction gate
3 blocks the exit
to the duplex unit,
Junction
so the paper goes
Gate 3 out to the side
tray.
