PTR Mechanism

The PTR rotates by
friction with the transfer
belt.
The ITB drive roller
pushes the toner off the
belt, and onto the paper.
The PTR is grounded. It
does not pull the toner
off the belt, like in some
models.
The discharge plate
removes charge from the
paper after it goes past
the PTR.
