You can also change to a directory and use I&&w Dfrectrzry to create a subdirectory The
number of characters in a directory and subdirectory path cannot exceed the MS-DOS limitation of 63.
1. Press the a a keys to highlight the directory you want to change to.
Then press C!&W@+ Directory . After changing directories, the current
directory name appears in the top box of the displayed table.

1. A directory must be empty before it can be removed. If there are hles in
the directory that you want to move elsewhere and delete, refer to "Other
File Utilities," earlier in this chapter for information on how to copy and
delete hles.
