POWER BOOSTING REGULATOR (PBR)

PBR OVERVIEW

The PBR is a power distribution device for all major
vehicle electrical circuits. It controls stator voltage and
maximizes electrical power or wattage output using its
outputs. The PBR processes the stator's 3-phase AC
output power and controls the output circuits, including a
3-phase ground shunt circuit.
• The 16 volt ECU circuit, powers the injectors, ignition
coils, and system sensors.
• The 14 volt engine circuit, also sometimes referred to
as the 'critical' circuit, powers the fuel pump, electronic
oil pump and EVES Learn Relay. The EVES Learn
Relay powers the EVES Actuator, instrumentation,
headlights and tail light.
• The 14.4 volt chassis circuit, powers the hand
warmers, thumb warmer, and accessory DC power.
The battery charge relay powers the battery charge
circuit.
• The 3-phase ground shunt circuit carries any unused
3-phase power to ground.
