GENERAL DISPLAY INFORMATION

COLD ENGINE PROTECTION MODE

The cold engine protection mode limits engine RPM and
is active under the following conditions:
• E-VES valves remain in the closed (down) position
when the engine coolant temperature is 10°F (-12°C)
or below.
• E-VES valves are limited to the mid-port position when
the engine coolant temperature is between 10°F (-12°
C) and 59°F (15°C).
• Full E-VES valve travel is enabled when engine
coolant temperature is at / above 60°F (15.5°C).
IMPORTANT
Always allow the engine to properly warm to normal
operating temperature before applying full throttle.
Polaris Interactive Digital Display:
If the snowmobile is equipped with a Polaris Interactive
Digital Display (PIDD), the screen will alert the rider
when the cold engine protection mode is active.
Current Standard Display:
If the snowmobile is equipped with a current std. display,
the screen will alert the rider when the cold engine
protection mode is active.
