5. If the MAG rear engine mount bracket was removed
from the cooler, reinstall the mount and torque
fasteners to specification.
TORQUE
Engine Mount to Cooler:
26 ft-lbs (35 Nm)
6. Reinstall the following components:
• Bulkhead floor plate (See Bulkhead Floor Plate
Installation page 9.31)
• Fuel tank assembly (See Fuel Tank Assembly View
– AXYS page
)
• Engine assembly (See Engine Installation page
NOTICE
Allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours at 68° F (20° C)
before placing the snowmobile back into service.

BULKHEAD CLIP REMOVAL, LEFT

1. Remove the bulkhead floor plate (see Bulkhead Floor
Plate Removal page 9.31).
2. Remove the front bumper and nosepan.
3. Remove the fasteners retaining the bulkhead clip

4. Remove the tie rod boot and tie-rod if not already
removed.
5. Wearing heat resistant gloves, use a propane gas
torch to heat the adhesive between the bulkhead clip
mates with the engine side support brace.
6. Apply torch until adhesive begins to crackle. During
this time, the adhesive may smoke and bubble.
7. Continue heating the area until the components can
be separated.
Keep flame away from flammable materials. Use torch
in well-ventilated area.
Only apply heat to area that requires adhesive bond
separation. Do not apply heat to areas of adhesive
where bond line separation is not needed. Doing so will
require removing the part, removing adhesive, and then
re-applying new adhesive.
