Selecting the Retention Parameter (For the Trunking operation)

You can manually select a number for the Control
CH Retention Parameter� The Retention Parameter
determines whether a site is within the service range
or not�
TIP: The Control CH Retention Parameter is
programmed using the programming software� See
the softwareʼs Help fi le for details.
<Menu operation>
Portable: For the Ten-key and the Simple key types
Mobile: For the LCD types
(Menu > Trunking > Retention)
1� Push [Menu] to display the Menu screen�
2� Push [Left] or [Right] to select "Trunking," then
push [OK]�
3� Push [Up] or [Down] to select "Retention," then
push [OK]�
4� Push [Up] or [Down] to select the desired
Retention Parameter number, then push [OK]�
5� Hold down [Back] for 1 second to return to the
standby screen�
