The following values indicate the various
total engine capacities.

You may use any passenger-vehicle
engine oil which has been tested and ap-
proved for Mercedes-Benz. A list of tested
and approved oils is available from any
Mercedes-Benz Service Centre. Some oil
containers may also be marked "Approved
in accordance with MB Sheet 229.1, 229.3
or 229.5", for example.
The Mercedes-Benz Specifications for
Service Products Sheets 229.1, 229.3 and
229.5 apply to:

Engine oil viscosity
Select the SAE class (viscosity) of the en-
gine oil according to the average seasonal
ambient temperature, using the following
overview as a guide.
The temperature limits shown are guide-
lines only, and small deviations either way
are permitted.
