Operating system
Accepting a call
You may accept a call at any time provided
your telephone is ready to receive calls.
You will see the following message in the
display:
P54.30-5236-31
Audio system display
P54.30-5237-31
COMAND* system display

Press the í button.
You have accepted the call. You will
see the call duration in the display.
i
If you do not wish to accept the call, press
the ì button.
Ending a call
Press the ì button.
You have finished the call. The display
now shows the operational readiness
symbol again.
Dialling a number from the telephone
book
You may select and dial a number from the
telephone book at any time provided your
telephone is ready to receive calls.
Press the ÿ or è button repeat-
edly until you see the
TEL
the operational readiness symbol in the
display.
Press the j or k button.
The operating system reads the tele-
phone book stored on the SIM card or
in the telephone. This could take up to
30 seconds. If there is:
an audio system installed, the
PROCESSING
the display
a COMAND* system installed, the
PLEASE WAIT
the display
Press the j or k button repeat-
edly until the name you are looking for
appears in the display.
The stored names are displayed alpha-
betically from A to Z, or Z to A.
