Soft top
Problem
The soft top will not open.

Possible cause/consequence
The ignition is not switched on.
The parking brake has not been applied.
The boot separator is not closed.
The boot lid is open.
The skibag cover is open.
The roll-over bars have been deployed.
The soft top mechanism or controls are
faulty.
Suggested solutions
Turn the key to position 2 in the igni-
tion lock.
Apply the parking brake.
Close the boot separator

Close the skibag cover ( page 189).
Visit a qualified specialist workshop,
