Mirrors and windows
Problem
An exterior mirror has been pushed out
of position forwards or backwards with
some force.
A side window does not close complete-
ly when you pull the switch beyond the
pressure point and then release it.

Possible cause/consequence
An object has become trapped be-
tween the side window and the door
frame.
There are objects in the side window
guide rails which are preventing the
window from being raised.
Suggested solutions
Briefly press the mirror-folding button*
( page 150) repeatedly until you hear the
mirror click into place.
The mirror housing has been re-engaged
and you can adjust the mirror as normal
( page 150).
Open the side window again.
Remove the object.
Pull the switch beyond the pressure point
and release the switch.
Make sure that nobody can become
trapped as you are doing this.
