Each hot-swap power supply has three status LEDs:

LED Description
Input status The input status LED can be in one of the following states:

• Off: The power supply is disconnected from the ac power source.
• Green: The power supply is connected to the ac power source.
Output status The output status LED can be in one of the following states:

• Off: The server is powered off, or the power supply is not working properly. If the server is
powered on but the output status LED is off, replace the power supply.
• Slow blinking green (about one flash every two seconds): The power supply is in cold
redundancy active mode.
• Fast blinking green (about 2 flashes each second): The power supply is in cold redundancy
sleep mode.
• Green: The server is on and the power supply is working normally.
Fault LED

• Off: The power supply is working normally
• Amber: The power supply has failed. To resolve the issue, replace the power supply.
NMI button

Press this button to force a nonmaskable interrupt to the processor. You might have to use a pen or the end
of a straightened paper clip to press the button. You can also use it to force a blue-screen memory dump.
Use this button only when you are directed to do so by Lenovo Support.
5 USB 3.2 Gen 1 connector
There are three USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectors on the rear of the server. Connect a USB device, such as a
mouse, keyboard, or other devices, to either of these connectors.
6 VGA connector
Connect a monitor to this connector.
7 System management port
The server has a 1 GB RJ-45 connector dedicated to Lenovo XClarity Controller functions. Through the
management port, you can access the Lenovo XClarity Controller directly by connecting your laptop to the
management port using an Ethernet cable. Make sure that you modify the IP settings on the laptop so that it
